Doublespeak

After reading Politics and the English Language, we'd like to get started on an Orwellian campaign. This blog will be about writing. The more we read nowadays, the more we realise that the everyday language we use is fraught with political ideology. We cannot even think clearly because we are thinking with someone else's language. Our team of authors will be researching examples of this, and will prove to you that now, more than ever, language is used to cloud thought as much as it is used to express thoughts clearly.

If we fail to challenge everyday language, we become the victims of the language of others, not readers.
